Festival de Córdoba Guitarra 2008
Casi se me olvida qe vuelve (como todos los años) el festival más importante del territorio nacional para los amantes de las seis cuerdas. Córdoba ya está afinada para recibir, del 4 al 18 de julio, a una montonera de monstruos de las seis cuerdas y, entre ellos, como novedad, a dos monstruos de las cuatro (bajistas, para entendernos), uno de fama internacional y otro famoso en el terruño: Marcus Miller y Pepe Bao.
Vendrán Chuck Berry, Gary Moore... pero para mí el fichaje estrella es Scott Henderson, qe actuará con su banda de blues el domingo 6.
Repite el maestro Ricardo Gallén, también el formidable Mike Stern (esta vez acompañando a los Yellowjackets)... La música de Leo Brouwer en un concierto homenaje a Julian Bream el día 12 en el Gran Teatro...
Y qizá lo más singular de todo sea el concierto con el qe la guitarra de Juan Manuel Cañizares y la Orquesta de Córdoba bajo la batuta del compositor Mauricio Sotelo inaugurarán el festival. Lo qe sonará será "Iberia" de Albéniz y "Como llora el viento", del propio Sotelo. Conociéndolo, promete ser una obra de lo más bailable... si es qe el adjetivo es aplicable a ese género cuyo nombre, "música contemporánea", aceptan resignados los compositores vivos.
