Se trata de una gira Europea (España, Francia, Bélgica, Italia, Holanda y Alemania) que recala en nuestra zona de la mano de Sonríe y Lucha dentro de las II jornadas de arte y transformación social (ellos ya participaron en las primeras).

Este colectivo peruano de Villa Salvador, Lima, compañía de teatro, escuela, mostrará su recorrido de 16 años en la utilización del teatro como herramienta para el desarrollo social y la educación, mantendrá encuentros con jóvenes actores vallisoletanos y con organizaciones sociales, así como actuaciones y un foro de intercambio de experiencias, talleres de circo y de teatro.

Adiós Moretti

Nos informan que Juan Carlos Moretti falleció esta madrugada por un fallo cardiaco.

Actor, director y profesor de arte dramático. Nacido en Montevideo en 1941 donde comenzó y desarrolló gran parte de su carrera, especialmente ligado a la Institución Teatral “El Galpón”.
Le concedieron el Premio Morosoli de Plata en el 2.000 por su aportación cultural a Uruguay.

Muchos son los amigos que deja en Valladolid, todos ellos lo definen como una persona sabia y buena. Y en esta ciudad ha vivido los últimos años trabajando como actor y director en Azar teatro participando en 'Minetti' de Thomas Bernhard y "La última noche de Giordano Bruno" de Renzo Sicco.

Actuarán en Valladolid el 9 de oct en el centro cívico Bailarín Vicente Escudero presentando su último montaje "Tragicomedia de 1 loco ó 10 jaulas para cuerdos", obra de Antonio Crespo y Alberto Celdrán con un lenguaje corporal brusco y evocador que serpentea entre espacios escenográficos, absurdos y reales, simbólicos e inexistentes. Todo para caminar en la cuerda floja sobre el abismo que nos precipita hacia la locura.
Desesperación y miedo, imágenes de desnudez del ser humano en su soledad y tristeza, furia devastadora; todo un universo basculante de emociones alucinógenas que pretenden sumergir al espectador en el mundo de la locura, mirarla fijamente a los ojos y ver la crudeza que presentan unos personajes fuera de sí mismos, una locura que es elegida voluntariamente por cada uno de los personajes que forman parte de un revolucionario experimento acerca del comportamiento de los locos en la sociedad.

Este año hay un par de estrenos, "destellos" de Jara Producciones y "Clara y Daniel" obra para niños de los vallisoletanos Azar Teatro.
Pero también mas teatro de calle (a ver si el tiempo acompaña), teatro de sala, danza y música en el corral de Anuncia, una curiosa expo "Cerrato Vallés" o lo que ve Difunto Vallés en su nueva aparición pública.
Y como novedad el curso de imbecilidad "La búsqueda del propio Clown" impartido por els joglars Pep Vila.

VIII Muestra de Teatro Aficionado de La Seca

Un año más, y ya van 8, se va a celebrar la Muestra de Teatro Aficionado del pueblo de La Seca.
Como viene siendo habituál, la presentación tendrá lugar el próximo Viernes día 13 del presente mes a cargo de las gentes de la Escuela de Teatro local.
La muestra se extenderá durante los fines de semana siguientes hasta el Miercoles 23 de Julio, en que tendrá lugar el fallo del jurado y la entrega de premios.
Ademas, y como también viene siendo habituál, para la clausura contaremos con la actuación de "Pixie and Dixie"...grupete de "dixieland" ya especializado en éste tipo de eventos.

Drácula. Anatomía del miedo

Cuarteto Teatro lleva su nuevo montaje "Drácula. Anatomía del miedo" a la sala Ambigú de Valladolid los días 1, 2 y 3 de febrero. Entradas a la venta en la Casa Revilla, el Espacio Abierto (calle Gallo, 9) y el bar Libertad,3 (Bajada de la libertad). Y como yo he participado en los visuales no digo nada más, no caigamos en el nepotismo.

"La cabra o ¿quién es Silvia?"

Y ahora un hecho ocurrido en lo más profundo de nuestra España:
Resulta que el pasado 10 de Noviembre se presentaba en el auditorio de Medina del Campo la obra de teatro de Edward Albee: "La cabra o ¿quién es Silvia?", producida por Josep María Pou.
La concejala de cultura de ésta localidad, Silvia Pérez García, intentó entonces que se cambiara el título de dicha obra al interpretar que ofendía a su persona. Desde el ayuntamiento se planteó entonces esa solución y el enfado del señor Pou fué mayusculo al ver que en los programas que se repartieron al público, la obra era titulada "la cabra", a secas.
Finalmente la representación tuvo lugar y la metedura de pata de la concejala ha dado lugar a todo tipo de comentarios.

FETAL, premio Feria de Teatro de Huesca

Si señor, el Festival de Teatro Alternativo de Urones de Castroponce (FETAL) ha sido reconocido esta misma semana con el premio a la Programación más Innovadora de la edición de 2007 de la Feria Internacional de Teatro y Danza de Huesca
NORAGUENA !!!. Este era el segundo año que estaban nominados.

Sobre el FETAL poco mas podemos añadir, quizá hablar de lo intrépidos que son... presentar nuestros fanzines digitales en un pueblecito de Tierra de Campos que no tiene internet, como hicieron este año... ya es un dato. Tuvimos que grabar con Fran Hervada un vídeo de una sesión de navegación por las webs para proyectarla y que se hicieran una idea. Nada les detiene.
Este reconocimiento les tiene que saber a gloria a Raul Gómez y a todos los del pueblo, La feria de Teatro de Huesca es una de las mas antiguas y prestigiosas de España, además este año el evento ha sido de carácter internacional. Para el que no lo sepa las ferias de teatro son un punto de encuentro entre programadores y compañías en las que se muestran las últimas producciones, se habla, se discute y se negocian representaciones, entre otras cosas.

EnClave, festival teatro de calle de Burgos

Los días 14, 15 y 16 de septiembre se celebra el 8º EnClave, festival de las artes de calle, en Burgos.
20 compañías, 24 espectáculos y mas de 80 actividades representativas de los más variados géneros: teatro para niños, pasacalles, marionetas, circo, musicales, curiosidades... en los rincones más emblemáticos de la ciudad.

Como invitados este año los catalanes La compañía La Tal, con veinte años a sus espaldas en el Teatro de Calle. Mostrarán una pequeña selección de sus espectáculos más emblemáticos, y la reciente creación “Dèmodés”, que está visitando los principales festivales europeos.
Destacable también el estreno en España de “Cabaret-cirque” de la Compañía francesa Les Arrosés, un buen ejemplo de la comunión circo, teatro y música que cada vez se va imponiendo mas en los eventos de calle en un ejercicio de renovación, o quizá de vuelta a los orígenes de las artes de calle.
Aparte de la fuerte presencia de compañías francesas, mención especial a las producciones locales: Los Kikolas, Las Pituister, Bambalúa Teatro, Debla Danza y Centro de Creación Escénica “La Parrala”, con espectáculos que cada vez ocupan más espacio en las programaciones de aquí y allá...

La Ventanita presenta "Chejoviana", dos piezas cortas de Anton Chejov ("petición de mano" y "el oso"), dos clásicos del autor ruso.

Aunque Chejov es bien conocido como uno de los maestros del relato corto y el naturalismo ruso de la 2ª mitad del XIX y a pesar de morir joven, en su última época escribió varias obras de teatro, también breves, que han sido puestas en escena una y otra vez ininterrumpidamente a lo largo de los años.

teatro Teloncillo (1968-2007)

El día 27 se celebra el día mundial del teatro, como tantos otros días mundiales que terminarán llenando el calendario de reivindicaciones, y ojalá no fuera así.
Pero no todos los días tenemos oportunidad de publicar un reportaje que nos situe en los orígenes del teatro moderno en Valladolid, ni de hacer un repaso tan exhaustivo al grupo no sólo mas veterano sino además seminal, porque por ahí han pasado, colaborado o de allí han salido buena parte de los protagonistas del teatro vallisoletano desplegados en otras tantas compañías... y nos referimos a los del Teloncillo.

Aprovechamos que ese día un miembro del grupo recibirá el premio regional a la mejor interpretación para repasar la trayectoria de Teloncillo, su época actual centrada en el teatro infantil y lo que os resultará seguramente mas sabroso, los orígenes y evolución, dos primeras etapas a través de los 70 y los 80... historia viva que se irá completando con nuevos capítulos como las vírgenes necias (1970).

Desde que se estrenara este año en Berlín, la película de Katharina Otto-Bernstein ha recorrido festivales de medio mundo (Rio de Janeiro, Montreal, Sidney, Jerusalen...). Bien, pues desde hace un mes ha comenzado su exhibición en cines y teatros, en principio por los USA, para continuar luego por Europa

Katharina Otto-Bernstein (que también ha publicado la versión libro) pasó 5 años siguiendo y filmando al que seguramente sea el director y escenógrafo mas relevante de los últimos años, ha coincidido con algunos de sus montajes de teatro "Deafman Glance", "Einstein on the Beach" y "The CIVIL WarS", y además de entrevistas a Robert Wilson y familia cuenta con un elenco de colaboraciones de verdadero lujo, Susan Sontag, Phillip Glass, William Burroughs, Tom Waits, David Byrne, Jessye Norman, John Rockwell, Paula Cooper... extraño que no aparezca Lou Reed, con el que ha trabajado estrechamente en varias ocasiones...

FETAL, aunque su nombre pueda despistar, significa "Festival de Teatro Alternativo" y se celebra todos los años (con este van 10) en un pueblecito llamado Urones de Castroponce, situado al norte de Valladolid

Para la gente de la zona (nosotros) es un festival importante por su significado, es una especie de centro de resistencia y de lucha por el teatro independiente. Gracias al empeño del alcalde, con mucho esfuerzo y buscando ayudas por todos los lados, consigue que durante unos días su pequeño pueblo sea el centro de la actividad teatral en la provincia, y si me apuras en la región.
La programación suele ser impecable, mucha de ella gratis, teatro de calle, teatro para niños, el resto, la que tiene lugar en el "Corral de Anuncia" a precios populares = 5 e. Se trata de un espacio al estilo de los antiguos corrales de comedias, también rehabilitado por empeño del alcalde y los habitantes de Urones.
Este año son todo producciones recientes: teatro para adultos, teatro Corsario (la barraca de colón), producciones Viridiana y teatro che y moche (la plegaria de Chernobyl -El sabor amargo del ajenjo-).
Para todos los públicos teatro de calle : azar teatro (spanish blood), zanguango teatro (el desahucio), Horztmuga teatroa (zirko y luna), compañía internacional de la comedia dell'arte (amantes extranjeros), incluso una producción del propio festi por su X aniversario Alkimia 130-el NAA PanTeatro (tierrAdentro), y también algo de música, desde Burgos El espíritu de Lúgubre (folk ficticio) la danza del pescador de cajón
