En estos casos siempre se dice que los homenajes llegan demasiado tarde. Pero es mentira. Siempre llegan demasiado pronto. Cuando aún no hemos tenido tiempo de disfrutar lo suficiente. Ni de agradecer lo suficiente.

Ricardo era actor. De los buenos. Y eso que aún no había llegado al tope de su capacidad. Pero se nos ha ido. Durante años fue profesor en la Escuela de Teatro de Valladolid. Y eso marcó a toda una generación de actores jóvenes que ahora pululan por los escenarios. Andaba metido en películas y todavía teníamos pendiente una puesta en escena sobre Boris Vian. Desde las tablas o desde las oficinas de Cuarteto Teatro fue desangrándose hasta no poder más.

Gaby, Blanca, Inés, Xiqui, Pablolo, Quintana, Roberto... es tanto el dolor repartido por su ausencia que no cabe decir más.

Adiós Moretti

Nos informan que Juan Carlos Moretti falleció esta madrugada por un fallo cardiaco.

Actor, director y profesor de arte dramático. Nacido en Montevideo en 1941 donde comenzó y desarrolló gran parte de su carrera, especialmente ligado a la Institución Teatral “El Galpón”.
Le concedieron el Premio Morosoli de Plata en el 2.000 por su aportación cultural a Uruguay.

Falleció ayer en Viena, tenía 75 años.

Dificilmente se podrá olvidar aquella explosión creativa surgida a partir del maestro Miles Davis, allá por los 70, cuando incitó y casi obligó a algunos de sus discípulos a seguir su propio camino... John Mclaughin, Chick Corea... y Joe Zawinul, entre otros... y el jazz se acercó al rock, al flamenco, a la música hindú y se fusionó con todo tipo de ritmos. Tres pilares imprescindibles en la historia de la música del siglo XX.
Fue entonces cuando Zawinul fundó la Wheather Report con con otro ex-Davis, Wayne Shorter, después se incorporaría uno de los mejores bajistas, Jaco Pastorius -también fallecido-, con ese estilo tan personal que crearía escuela.
Grandes discos, grandes momentos.
Una vez terminada esa fase Zawinul seguiría en activo hasta la fecha con su Syndicate y otras formaciones que le han traido mas que nunca a tocar por España e incluso a Valladolid.

el padre de todos los baterías!!! falleció ayer en Manhattan, no era muy mayor 83, estaba en activo hasta el final.

Conocí de su existencia en los primeros años 70 con las referencias que hacía Ginger Baker, batería de Cream, al respecto de quien era su principal referencia musical y personal: Max Roach. De ahí fue fácil pasar a escuchar a Parker, Gillespie, Mingus, Davis… y tantos otras luminarias del jazz y la música afroamericana.
El mejor homenaje que podemos hacerle es escuchar su música
