Si todos esos proyectos [de explotación de nuevos yacimientos petroleros] ven la luz del día sin retrasos, sumarán una capacidad de 25 millones de barriles diarios. Así que 37,5 millones por un lado, es lo que se necesita, y lo que esperamos son 25 millones de barriles, y eso en caso de que no haya problemas ni retrasos y todo sea puntual, lo cual es bastante raro. Así que tenemos una brecha de 12,5 millones de barriles diarios. Esta brecha emergerá dentro de los próximos siete años.
Hemos pronosticado cuatro millones de barriles diarios menos para 2030.La principal razón, y es muy importante resaltarlo, es que a diferencia de los países de la OPEP, creemos que existen algunos problemas geológicos en las áreas no OPEP. Esto no es un asunto de inversión, no es un asunto político, sino que tiene que ver más con la geología, a causa del gran declive en los países no OPEP.

SINOPSIS.
Carmen trabaja el turno de la noche en una maquiladora en Tijuana. Las maquiladoras son las fábricas trasnacionales que vinieron a México por su disponibildad de mano de obra barata. Después de ensamblar televisiones toda la noche, Carmen regresa a una choza que ella misma construyó usando puertas de garage recicladas, situada en un vecindario sin drenaje ni electricidad. Ella padece de mala salud al haber sido expuesta al plomo y otros tóxicos durante sus años en las maquilas. Ella al día gana seis dólares. Pero Carmen no es una víctima. Ella es una mujer dinámica moviéndose para mejorar su vida y la de sus hijos.

En el último festival de cine de Cannes se ha presentado "Persépolis", la versión animada del cómic autobiográfico (4 vols., 2000) de la artista iraní Marjane Satrapi (nacida en 1969).

El caso es que la Fundación Farabi del cine iraní ha protestado ante las autoridades francesas por la programación de esta película: la prensa dice que la Fundación dice que Satrapi presenta "un cuadro irreal de las consecuencias y éxitos de la revolución islámica", y que por esto la Fundación califica la programación de la película de "acto anticultural".

Las reacciones no se han hecho esperar: el Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores francés - Bernard Kouchner, el fundador de "Médicos sin Fronteras"- ha recordado que "Las autoridades iraníes deben entender que Francia está muy unida a la libertad de expresión y de creación y que en ella no se persigue la libertad de expresión", y ya salieron listos para acordarse de “otros casos de censura”, aludiendo a la polémica de las caricaturas de Mahoma. En la web sobre cómics “La cárcel de papel” se han puesto gallitos, y ven en el comunicado “otra razón más para ver la película”.
