El brau blau
"El brau blau", presentada a concurso en el último Festival de Locarno, es la película de "moda" en España. Dirigida por Daniel Villamediana (Valladolid, 1975) es una película de apenas una hora de duración, sin diálogos, con un solo actor y unso cuantos textos leídos en catalán, en la que plantea una búsqueda espiritual a partir de un personaje que sueña con ser torero. Se ha llevado a cabo con un presupuesto raquítico y sin un plan de rodaje fijo.
Daniel Villamediana es un crítico de cine metido a director, autor de cortometrajes como "Espacio público" su vida dió un verdadero vuelco cuando escribió para la revista "Letras de Cine" un artículo titulado "Una cierta indecencia en el cine español" a raíz del cual le llamó José María de Orbe para escribir juntos el guión de "La línea recta".
