53 seminci. 2008. música en directo
pues parece que ya tenemos la programación completa de la 53 seminci 2008, que no el calendario (24 oct a 1 nov), ya ha costado... pero es cierto que con el cambio de director este verano, tiempo desde luego no les ha sobrado...
Nosotros fuimos a ver a Angulo al poco de su nombramiento, y nos adelantó parte de sus ideas... mas cine español (crisis ? que crisis? eso son cosas del PP... menuda la que se ha liado), él está bastante metido en el festival de Málaga (cine español), formar un equipo de ojeadores que estén pendientes de lo que pasa en suramérica, áfrica y paises en conflicto y por supuesto europa (él es miembro de la academia de cine europea) y dar mas presencia a la música, Angulo fue uno de los fundadores del mítico disco-express, en los 70 ¿alguien se acuerda de aquel periódico?, allí empezaron algunos de los mas importantes cronistas y críticos como Juliá, Cervera, Manrique y etc... pues este año han programado 3 películas con música en directo, Metrópolis con la orquesta sinfónica CyL, Der Golem con el guitarrista Gary Lucas y goodbye dragon inn con música de Fibla y Arbol. Por algo se empieza. Además se recupera la sesión golfa a medianoche en el Cervantes.
En la sección oficial reaparece Atom Egoyan y hay varios documentales en tiempo de historia's con buena pinta (menos mal que que existe el cine documental !!).
En los otros ciclos veremos a Marco Ferreri & Rafael Azcona, retrospectiva Gonzalo Suarez y una revisión de Shohei Imamura y Bo Widerberg
a ver que tal... después de lo del año pasado dificilmente se puede hacer peor, esto sólo puede mejorar, por el momento año de gracia.
No podemos decir lo mismo del lo del ECAM (sin acritud) ni tampoco de la flojísima sección nuevas tecnologías y cine, por favor Angulo, que tu has puesto en marcha el festival digital y tv de Málaga... aquí había que haber apostado mas, hombre, que material interesante hay de sobra.
