La Orquesta del Caos nos informa del que debe ser por lo menos su X Zepellin, Festival de Proyectos Sonoros, con una convocatoria abierta para piezas sonoras en torno a las sorderas que nos acechan.
Invitan a todas las personas interesadas a que se unan enviando sus trabajos sonoros, mas abajo encontrareis la justificación y los requisitos. Las piezas serán difundidas en un sistema de ocho altavoces los días 13, 14 y 15 de Marzo de 2008 en el Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona ( CCCB )
Sonoscop es un proyecto de colaboración estable de la Orquestra del Caos con el Centre de Cultura contemporània de Barcelona y su finalidad la creación de un archivo multimedia de música experimental y arte sonoro accesible al público, ya sea a través de la presencia física o a través de otras formas derivadas de la electrónica como la red.

Hay muchos tipos de sordera pero aquellas a las que se quiere atender primordialmente en este Festival de Arte Sonoro son esas apenas perceptibles que van minando nuestra escucha. Nos gusta escuchar los ruidos y trabajar con ellos, pero sabemos también que estos ruidos a menudo inoculan una suerte de sordera mental. Queremos escuchar con todo nuestro cuerpo y por ello, nos invitan a reflexionar y a realizar piezas sonoras que atiendan al exceso de verborrea, imágenes y sonidos que bajo la cobertura de la llamada información inundan nuestros oídos; a ese rumor incesante y repetitivo que las consignas políticas pretenden grabar en nuestras mentes y nuestros comportamientos; a los extraños sonidos que generan las grandes concentraciones de poder; al modo en que continuamente se nos insta por doquier a considerarnos clientes, consumidores y no ciudadanos... a todo ese ruido que nos deja sin sonidos propios. Por ello, quieren preguntarnos qué es realmente lo que podemos escuchar; qué mecanismos operan esta gran sordera mental y social que nos aqueja y, sobretodo, interrogar nuestras/vuestras creaciones en tanto dispositivos de una escucha que se alza contra todas esas sorderas que habitan nuestro tiempo.
LOS REQUISITOS:
Todas las obras recibidas serán aceptadas siempre que cumplan las
siguientes condiciones:
1. Las piezas NO deben tener una duración de más de diez (10) minutos
2. Los trabajos deberán estar en formato WAV o AIFF a 44.1 khz y 16 bits
3. Se debe adjuntar la siguiente documentación:
3.1. Comentarios acerca de la pieza
3.2. Biografía artística del autor
3.3. Documento firmado por el autor manifestando autorización o desautoriazación explícita para la difusión de su pieza través de Internet
3.4. Documento firmado por el autor manifestando su conformidad para que la pieza forme parte del archivo de arte sonoro de Sonoscop
4. Los trabajos con la documentación tienen que llegar en soporte CD/DVD antes del 15 de Febrero de 2008 a:

Hola amigos,
Como muchos ya sabéis, el festival de proyectos sonoros Zeppelin 2008 tendrá lugar en el CCCB del día 13 al 15 de Marzo de 2008. Este año se dedica a las sorderas psicosociales, y contaremos con una instalación en el Pati de les Dones, conciertos de BMB, Interferencias y Brandon LaBelle, además de conferencias de Peter Szendy y Daniel Charles y las presentaciones de libros y trabajos de investigación de Ciutat Sonora y Orquestra del Caos.
En este momento, estamos grabando frases sobre la sordera que muchos colaboradores nos enviaron en el 2007 para la instalación en el Patí de les Dones.
Y aquí también os invitamos a participar!
Si estás en Barcelona y puedes pasarte un momentito por nuestra oficina en el Antic Teatre del CCCB para regalarnos tu voz con una lectura de una frase corta, te regalaremos sonrisas y la posibilidad de que muchos, durante el festival, reflexionen sobre las sorderas políticas e intelectuales a través de tu voz.
