T.G.- Industrial Music for Industrial People
Industrial Music for Industrial People es el título del libro escrito por Eric Duboys que acaba de publicar la editorial francesa Camion Blanc, historia y correrías de Throbbing Gristle y surgimiento de la música industrial.
Nada mas que añadir, sobre T.G sería tarea dura, tanto por lo que supuso su primera etapa, como la actual resurección y todos los proyectos puestos en marcha por Orridge, Cosey, Carter y Christopherson. Mucho se ha escrito sobre aquella época, segunda mitad de los 70, que tanto cambió el devenir de la música popular, pero poco en concreto sobre TG, sin duda uno de los grupos mas influyentes de todos los tiempos.
En cuanto a Camion Blanc, especializados en en este tipo de publicaciones, simplemente echad un vistazo a su catálogo, ediciones muy bien cuidadas y documentadas : Pistols, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Beatles, Joy Division, Motorhead, Kraftwerk, velvet underground, Led Zepelin, Jimy Hendrix, Syd Barret, Metallica, NIN, Cure, Pixies y etc... vamos, para todos los gustos.
