Dave Chappelle's Block Party
Dave Chappelle's Block Party es una comedia musical inspirada en el documental "Wattstax" (Mel Stuart, 1973) y dirigida por Michel Gondry. Si normalmente Gondry es un director enfático, en este caso utiliza una mirada realista para mostrarnos a la comunidad afroamericana de Brooklyn. Todo comienza cuando Dave Chapelle (presentandor televisivo y cómico) organiza una fiesta con los músicos a los que admira. Coge un megáfono y recorre las calles publicitando el evento (algo así como el boca a boca pero a más volumen). Incluye actuaciones de Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Dead Prez, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Roots, Cody ChesnuTT, Big Daddy Kane y (la más sorprendente) los Fugees.
