Una de Bicicletas
Se celebrará este próximo día 12 de noviembre, en varias ciudades españolas, una bicicletada popular con el fín de promocionar el uso del ciclo y que así bajen las aportaciones de CO2 hacia la atmósfera.
A tal fín, auspiciado por el ministerio del medio, y por diversas asociaciones de amantes de las dos ruedas sin motor, se realizará un acto lleno de simbolismo en varías villas de la corte.
En la ciudad ladrilio se dará la salida en la pza.Zorrilla, por lo que los líderes de los equipos más glotones se pegarán por salir en la foto. Estamos en precampaña electoral y la bici es un buen aliado caza-votos en estos tiempos, además de "estar de moda".
Otra cosa es que doña Soraya y don León utilicen (o sepan) manejar dicha máquina. ¿Aparecerán por allí? ¿Habrá canapes? Alfonso si que lo ha intentado y ha sabido explicar muy bien por qué la bicicleta aporta calidad de vida.
De todos modos, decir que si bien es cierto que asistimos a un proceso de calentamiento térmico, no es menos cierto que el planeta tierra, en sus muchos millones de años de vida ha ido evolucionado y cambiando su estructura atmosférica en distintos ciclos. Así a finales del s.XIX, por ejemplo, asistimos a un periodo de leve glaciación y de bajada de temperaturas, el cual poco a poco va remitiendo, en parte, puede que por la evolución propia del planeta, o también por la emisión -exagerada y abusiva es cierto- de partículas contaminantes (no sólo CO2). Quizás todo esté en un término medio. Ni estamos en la hecatombe planetaría (el populismo y alarmismo de los mass media), ni el tratado de Kioto se tiene que tomar a chufla.
También otros dicen que en otros periodos (500 años atrás) había sequías más pertinaces que las de estos tiempos que vivimos...
Entre las muchas demandas a mí me ha gustado está.

Desde el gobierno de Venezuela también andan combatiendo el cambio climático a su manera: Venezuela rechazará propuesta de países industrializados sobre cambio climático.
Caracas, 02 Nov. ABN.- Venezuela anunciará su rechazo ante la propuesta ambiental de países industrializados, denominada Mecanismo de Desarrollo Limpio (MDL), durante la segunda Conferencia de la Organizaciones de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) sobre el cambio climático que se realizará del 6 al 17 de noviembre en Nairobi, Kenya.
«En la reunión de Kenya se pretende decir que los países con poca producción de contaminación ahora tenemos que reducirla a nuestro costo y sin el compromiso de reducción por parte de las naciones industrializadas», enfatizó.
La titular del Ministerio del Ambiente (Minamb) indicó que la aplicación del mencionado mecanismo permitirá a las naciones desarrolladas vender tecnologías destinadas a disminuir la producción de carbono en los países en vías de desarrollo.
«Con la venta de dichas tecnologías se compromete a los países pobres a mantener de por vida esas tecnologías para que disminuyan para siempre la producción de carbono», sostuvo Jaqueline Faría.

Kannen donde insta a gobiernos y empresarios de E.U.A. a que emprendan un gran programa de exportación de tecnologías de producción de energía renovable con el fin de combatir el cambio climático y/o conseguir que los EUA pasen de ser importadores a ser exportadores de energía...
«Nuestro Presidente afirmó que los mecanismos de desarrollo limpio significan una evasión, una licencia para contaminar que quieren comprarse los países productores de contaminación y de gases de efecto invernadero. Venezuela no se presta para eso y ha dicho no a los MDL».
La ministra Jacqueline Faría destacó que en Venezuela se produce un 70% de energía eléctrica a partir de fuentes limpias, cuenta con abundante legislación ambiental, posee 50% del territorio cubierto de bosques y los beneficios de la producción petrolera están destinados a mejorar las condiciones sociales de la población.
La titular de Ambiente precisó que 5,5 toneladas de carbono en la atmósfera están impidiendo la salida de la irradiación solar y ocasionando el recalentamiento planetario. «La tierra nos está enviando señales, como cambios climáticos, inundaciones y grandes sequías, esto requiere de un cambio de actitud», dijo Faría.

En medio del enfado que tenía ayer, hubo al menos una cosa que me hizo reír. Fueron las declaraciones de un representante de Adena que dijo que la acción de los cinco minutos debía ser considerada como una llamada de atención para que los gobiernos «se pongan las pilas». ¡Se pongan las pilas! ¡La cosa es consumir energía!
