Carlo Gesualdo
Gesualdo fue muy importante para mi, quisé hacer algo para corresponderle.
Carlo Gesualdo (1566-1613), Príncipe de Venosa y Conde de Conza, compositor italiano nacido en Nápoles hacía 1560 y fallecido en la misma ciudad el 8 de septiembre de 1613, está considerado como una de las figuras más significativas del Renacimiento italiano. Famoso por asesinar brutalmente a su esposa, y también por las causas de su muerte, en el transcurso de una sesión masoquista, pero sobre todo por el uso de cromatismos en su música. Progresiones de su estilo no volverán a aparecer en la música occidental hasta el siglo xix. Fascinante.
