Quizás no, y nos estemos refiriendo a una república tipo Francia, tan centralizada y tan linda, donde ni siquiera se reconoce la particularidad bretona, o vasca .. o puede que hablemos de una república federal, estilo los grandes USA, herederos del imperio, con su fenomenal sistema bananero de elección de emperador de turno, eso si, con fecha de caducidad.
O una república al estilo soviético, o como la actual rusa, paraiso de capitalistas, tan representativa y democrática como las anteriores ...
uummm ¿que es esto de la república? ¿que es esto de la democracia?
de verdad que me hace gracia todo esto, no podemos estar hablando en serio (dados los resultados)
hay una corriente republicana en españa, siempre la habido, pero yo no termino de enterarme cual es el modelo que proponen algunos partidos republicanos, francamente,
tampoco algunos partidos socialistas, muchos lo utilizan en su vertiente mas nostalgica y sentimental, como fue la lucha en este pais contra el franquismo, el fascismo ... pero no olvidemos que lo que estaba ahí en juego no era la república como tal, sino conceptos muy superiores, la libertad, la justicia ... de hecho gran parte de aquellos luchadores eran anarquistas (para nada republicanos) y otra buena parte eran simplemente antifascistas ... asi pues no mezclemos las cosas ni confundamos a la gente.
¿un mal menor frente a la monarquía?
pero ¿hasta cuando vamos a seguir parcheando?.
2- Ya sabemos todos que la monarquía es algo anacrónico, sin pies ni cabeza, totalmente desfasado, como siempre lo ha sido, aunque alguno de los paises mas modernos del mundo la utilicen/mos en su formato constitucional, pero vamos, ni siquiera es el caso español, en el cual representa algo impuesto y además una contradición a la propia constitución por tener un código propio, linea de sucesión excluyente y sexista (¿o quizás se trata de una excepción? o ¿es algo que está por encima de la propia constitución?)
bahh, pamplinas, en todo caso ahí está y seguirá estando, ya que el partido que decida cambiar eso tendrá que someterse a unas elecciones generales previa disolución del parlamento, y nunca veremos el momento en que alguno tenga la valentía de hacer eso, aun (ojo) teniendo seguramente a favor una mayoría de los votantes, lo mas seguro es que en ese caso se diera un elevado número de votos en blanco como simple rechazo al propio sistema monárquico y que ponodría poner en entredicho al propio sistema. Y sino al tiempo ...
total, como decían los griegos, nos encontramos ante una auténtica paradoja política que no tiene perspectivas de ser solucionada por esa vía. Es lo que hay. Estamos atrapados en nuestras propias normas.
Pero vamos, no sólo hablamos de los sentimientos de unos (los monárquicos, los juancarlistas) sino de que modelo de República se va a proponer ... y a ver como cojones nos/se ponen de acuerdo en esto.
Ejemplo: seguramente en mi barrio (el ínclito Girón, conocido personaje fascistón de pro) conseguiría promover una campaña para que los vecinos nos decidiéramos a cambiar de nombre el barrio (foro por la memoria - limpia las calles- pero a no ser de que aparezca un verdadero lider por aquí, con carisma, tiempo, ganas y energía, no veo cómo podría resolverse el problema del nombre alternativo que le pondríamos al barrio. ¿da igual? ¿la cuestión es cambiar ese nombre?
Pues la cuestión republicana en estos momentos me resulta algo parecido.
- La derecha no tiene intelectuales, no se puede ser intelectual y de derechas, por lo menos yo no conozco ninguno, es como el agua y el aceite, puede que haya mucho cultivado, algún académico, artista o docto, incluso alguno de sus iluminados dicen que si, que es muy bonito eso del anarquismo, pero que es imposible, y entonces me viene a la cabeza el título de ese libro-ensayo "nada tan sencillo como el anarquismo". y no, no es una contradición de planteamiento con lo que antes estaba diciendo, sino que lo traigo precisamente a colación por eso.
Pasado mañana es el aniversario de la república y simplemente me hago esas preguntas y me las contesto yo solito

parte b : lo de ese periódico y ramoncín ... pues no me gustaría tener que explicar mucho mas sobre esto, si esa gente, los de la SGAE, son los que van a decidir en materia de arte, y lo que es peor, en materia de propiedad intelectual ... estamos totalmente perdidos, ni dios nos podrá asistir, ramonciín y sus colegas de la sgae defienden un modelo que es una verdadera trampa, porque no ven mas allá de sus narices y de lo que representan sus beneficios a nivel profesional en un pequeño campo (muy pequeño) que es la creación musical. Pero no, ellos están tan cegatos y tan concentrados defendiendo sus ingresos por esos conceptos que los anteponen a cualquier solución encaminada al bien común y lo justo, como cualquier empresario, como cualquier berlusconi, y ¿son tipos como el ramoncín los que van a escribir en ese periódico llamado república? me pregunto si se diera el caso si no tendríamos a un tipo como ramoncín de ministro de cultura, me dan arcadas ...

3- el himno de riego?
bueno, realmente no fue en la segunda república cuando se adoptó como himno nacional, ya lo había sido antes ... En España ha habido dos himnos, la marcha real (que es el actual) y el de Riego.
La marcha Real creo que fué Carlos III el que la oficializó, en el XVIII, milsetecientosymucho, el de Riego es posterior, de 1820 (mas o menos, pero dejemos google y las enciclopedias durante un rato).
Ambos se han alternado un par de veces a lo largo de la historia.
Y se ha discutido mucho, pero mucho, a algunos el de riego les parecía populista o chavacano, vamos, una mierda, pero joder, si está sacado de la música popular, es una adaptación de un tema folcklórico del valle de Benasque en Huesca, aunque tenga ese toque tan celtiño que a muchos les parece asturiano ...
En todo caso, sin llegar al nivel del segundo movimiento de la quinta sinfonía de beethoven, es con mucho bastante mejor que el actual himno, con mas fuerza y mas carisma, sin duda, y puede que por esa razón, porque es una pieza popular, pero vamos, que aunque me da bastante igual no soy del todo iconoclasta, ni creo en esas chorradas de que para ser anarquista haya que ser iconoclasta ni que para ser del barça tengas que ser antimadridista ni viceversa, chorradas, y ya que no soy iconoclasta, prefiero ese de Riego, sin duda, aunque es cierto que la interpretación esa del sr morrison en Australia con la trompeta fue verdaderamente lamentable, pero por lo mal que la tocó, no porque la tocara, que me pareció de puta madre ...

personalmente sólo veo una diferencia con la monarquía, se elige al presi por votación, lo cual no deja de ser un paso, puede que intermedio, un mal menor, puede que una simple ilusión ...
pero ¿república? ¿que es la república? ¿que tipo de república?

Sobre el Himno de Riego, es oportuno recordar estas frases de "Formación Política : lecciones para las Flechas / Sección Femenina de F.E.T. y las J.O.N.S.":

El Ayuntamiento de Miranda de Ebro (Burgos) izará la bandera republicana en la balconada del Consistorio el próximo viernes 14 de abril, jornada en la que se celebra el 75 aniversario de la II República española. Se dará así cumplimiento a lo recogido en la moción aprobada por el pleno municipal del pasado día 6, con los votos a favor del equipo de gobierno -integrado por el PSOE, IU e Iniciativa Ciudadana Democrática- y en contra del PP y de los cinco concejales no adscritos.
A propuesta de la coalición Izquierda Unida la bandera tricolor de la República permanecerá allí durante todo el mes de abril, «en conmemoración y recuerdo de dicha efeméride», de acuerdo con la información que facilitó ayer a Efe el coordinador de esta formación en la localidad burgalesa, Javier López Simón.

Aclaro que la "FET de las JONS" arriba mencionada es Falange Española Tradicionalista de las Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional-Sindicalistas. "Las flechas" es una organización mediante la que el regimen franquista encuadraba a las niñas y adolescentes en fecha como la de 1960, fecha de la octava edición del manual del que está tomada la cinta.
Este tipo de enseñanzas formaba parte, entre otras cosas, del "servicio social" por el que tenía que pasar toda mujer joven para que se le reconociesen unos minimos derechos a nivel administrativo.
Aclaro también -eso quizás debia haberlo puesto al principio- que el texto que cito venia después de una serie de preguntas y respuestas, en plan catecismo, para que la Flecha entendiese porque le era muy importante saberse el "Cara al sol" -himno de Falange- de memoria, porque era uno de esos himnos importantes para animar a mejorar España de manera transcendente, y no en plan de charanga.

es curioso eso que comentan el en post república si, pero de republicanos en el cual el autor dice que va siendo hora de explicar que es esto de la república, que es lo mismo que comentaba yo antes, pero mas curioso me ha resultado el párrafo en el que habla de los republicanos como algo alejado de la política, o ajeno, o no he entendido muy bien, y lo digo sin ánimo de ofender, pero si de debatir si se da el caso ...

Siempre he pensado que el hecho de ser republicano o monarquico o anarquista ya implicaba una cierta idea política, aunque es cierto que el hecho republicano es algo distinto ¿hay republicanos de derechas? puede, y seguramente también haya carlistas de izquierdas, pero vamos, como que muy raro. Aunque es cierto que Alemania era una república cuando Hitler ganó las elecciones e Italia también cuando "il fiti" se hizo con la cosa pública, también es cierto que en ese momento dejaro de ser repúblicas para convertirse en dictaduras.
Así que no entiendo muy bien lo que quiere decir el autor con eso.
