El 15 de marzo estaba prevista la re-emisión del capítulo de South Park titulado Trapped in the Closet, en el que se habla de la Cienciología. Pero nunca se llegó a emitir. La emisora alega que se sustituyó por Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls como un homenaje a Isaac Hayes, que ha abandonado la serie (curiosamente alegando el trato que se da a las religiones en la misma, más curioso aún cuando Isaac Hayes resulta pertenecer a la Iglesia de la Cienciología. Otros hablan de amenazas de demandas, e incluso de la amenaza de Tom Cruise de negarse a promocionar Mission: Impossible 3, producida por Paramount, que pertenece, al igual que Comedy Central, a Viacom.
