Elmyr de Hory
Almost True (también conocida como Masterpiece or Forgery?-The Story of Elmyr de Hory) es un documental de Knut W. Jorfald sobre Elmyr de Hory (1905-1976), uno de los grandes falsificadores de arte de nuestro tiempo. Desenmascarado en 1968, produjo unas 1000 pinturas falsas, principalmente post-impresionistas. Las obras fueron vendidas en América, Europa y Japón, por un valor estimado de más de 100 millones de dólares. Muchas galerías de buena reputación puede que posean uno de estos dudosos Matisse o Modigliani. Además de falsificar pinturas, Elmyr falsificó su propia identidad. La historia de Elmyr de Hory nos adentra en un mundo donde los límites entre ficción y realidad han sido eliminados.

Tribeca es un barrio de New York,en Manhattan, entre el Village y el Soho, creo recordar que mas bien en el Soho, incluso hay una estación de metro que se llama así, es una zona llena de galerías de arte y pintores que exponen en la misma calle, algunos muy buenos, es un sitio excelente, da gusto pasear por allí.
por lo que veo la habeis estado buscando en Madrid ... vaya tela, pero de falsificaciones va la cosa, auque en este caso parece que se la han metido primero a los de TVE ... je je, lo que es el mundo de la información, hoy en día te inventas una noticia, la haces correr en la red, en los blogs y bla bla bla y al final quedará como un hecho histórico.
