La interminable espera de Arturo Gross
Seguimos con la nueva hornada de directores de cine españoles que están haciendo sus películas en vídeo digital y con pmuy bajos presupuestos económicos que no artísticos. "La interminable espera de Arturo Gross" es el título del segundo largometraje (el primero fue "Eva en la nube") de Jorge Izquierdo.
Su cortometraje "La novia" (que narra la historia desde el punto de vista de un muerto) ganó el certamen de cortos de Canal + en el 2001. También ha realizado algunos vídeo-clips (el Sheltering Sun de Sidonie...) y dirige el Taller de cine independiente vinculado al Aula de teatro de la universidad de Murcia.
A la vez que ha empezado a distribuir su largo también está haciendo lo propio con dos nuevos cortometrajes "Cuento de guerra" y "El mecánico de Raikonen".
