Jin Hi Kim
Jin Hi Kim es reconocida como virtuosa de komungo (una cítara con trastes coreana del siglo IV) y por sus composiciones transculturales. Kim ha introducido por primera vez el komungo en la escena de la música contemporánea con sus composiciones para grupos de cámara, orquestas o grupos de jazz improvisado. Y también ha codiseñado el primer y único komungo eléctrico.
También ha creado piezas interactivas para komungo eléctrico y un sistema midi computerizado, usando MAX/MSP: el sonido del komungo se procesa en directo utilizando una pedalera midi como controlador. Todo esto combinado con preceptos filosóficos budistas y chamanismo coreano. Aquí puedes ver Saturn's Moon o Sanjo Ecstasy, también puedes escuchar algunos mp3 aquí.
