Estoy fascinado con el fenómeno de los mash-ups. Hasta ahora sólo me había interesado por la plunderfonía pero no había prestado demasiada atención a estos trabajos, que parecen mucho más pensados para la pista de baile. Pero después de descubrir (vía Do or DIY with People Like Us) ese Tainted Music en el que Dsico hace convivir a Madonna y Soft Cell le estoy cogiendo el gusto. Tanto a los que se pueden considerar una remezcla de temas similares, como aquellos que buscan el pliegue entre dos temas aparentemente muy dispares en su procedencia. ¿O no tanto? Simplemente cambiando el contexto, sin tocar la pista vocal, Trent Reznor canta popero y Destiny's Child cantan rockero, y Christina Aguilera se convierte en una digna sucesora de Nico. Y como dice dINbOT, haciendo música al viejo estilo, robándola.
